San Joaquin River Faire

Revive the San Joaquin is hosting a San Joaquin River Faire at Lost Lake Park on Saturday August 21st to celebrate the restoration of the San Joaquin River and the eventual return of Chinook salmon to their native spawning grounds.  The event will have live music, food, informational booths, and river-friendly recreational opportunities.  There will be no cost for booths or vendors that

August 27th and 28th in South Lake Tahoe

Race for the River and make a contribution toward its restoration. On Saturday, September 18, 2010, paddlers from throughout the state of California will be experiencing the grandeur of the San Joaquin River as they race from Lost Lake Park to the Fresno County Sportsman's Club in Fresno. Race for the River is a showcase for California's second largest river, a river that is being restored. All proceeds from Race for the River will benefit non-profit organizations actively involved in San Joaquin River restoration.
