Help Revive the San Joaquin create a local voice that will seal the deal on river restoration, and get our mighty river flowing again in 2009.
The Settlement Agreement to restore the San Joaquin River has created a federal/State partnership called the San Joaquin River Restoration Program. The five federal and State agencies are charged with implementation of the Settlement agreement and have already began an extensive program to plan for restoration of the San Joaquin River. Federal legislation will appropriate the necessary funds and clear the way for the federal agencies to engage in the difficult restoration tasks ahead. The river needs your support, and so do your legislators! Please write them and let them know how important the river is to you.
The following form letters can be copied and submitted to your legislators. Feel free to use these letters or modify them with personal information supporting restoration.
